Mitsui Miike SLB300 Roadheader Overhaul
The scope of this overhaul for Thiess/John Holland Airport Link Project in Brisbane is as follows:
- Full strip down
- All hydraulic cylinders and valves overhauled. Hydraulic pumps, motors and coolers tested and overhauled as required. All hydraulic hosing and fittings replaced
- All electric motors tested. Pump motor fully overhauled including fitment of thermal cut-out
- Apron, chain conveyor and belt conveyor - Duraplate decks replaced, hardfacing and structural repairs and conveyor belt replaced
- Traction (x2), conveyor (x2), cutter reducer, cutter telescopic (x2), gathering (x2) and belt conveyor gearcases overhauled including bearings and seals and some gears and shafts
- Traction chains replaced, traction sprockets replaced, traction idlers and take ups overhauled
- Electrical system tested including current injection on circuit breakers, transformers tested and cabling tested and replaced as required. PLC sent to Japan for testing
- Pins and bushes - 29 pins (up to 160mm x 560mm) and 44 aluminium bronze bushes, CNC manufactured. Bores built up and line bored as required, bushes freeze fitted.
- Boom turret bearing imported from Japan and fitted
- Hand rails, platforms and access ladders repaired or replaced
- Machine repainted in Mitsui Yellow
- Full function commissioning including test running of all gearcase with thermography testing
